He would have been the last Senator I would have picked to turn on us. At least we know not to trust him anymore.

I just got off the phone with a college roomate and good friend who still works in justice. He has been talking to friends on the hill following the vote. He was laughing so hard it was difficult to understand him. He says the Dems are PISSED!! He went on to say that they feel they were totally blindsided by the final vote. The Kerry and Edwards people are especially pissed of since both came back for the AWB vote because they thought it would be a good election issue.

Seriously guys, GWB did this with the help of the REAL Republican Senators. EVERYONE needs to send a big thank you to the Whitehouse. If you want to retain the right to bitch when things go wrong, you have to show gratitude when thing go well.

I've been asking myself that same question, for years.


And the only ones who are dellusional are those that even pretend to think that Bush is pro 2nd amendment, or pro freedom whatsoever.

Even though Gregg is now a thorn in our side, don't forget to send John Sununu a quick letter of thanks for his vote.

I'll be sending a thank you to him in the morning, not to mention a factual tirade to Mr. Gregg. I'd call him Senator, but he's gotta earn the title now.
