break-free clp, remoil, etc. work fine
My 22/45 works well with minimal lubrication. If too much oil is put on it, it will pick up too much powder fouling and start having failure to feed jams.
You can get by lubricating without disasembling the pistol by placing a few drops of oil on the exposed area of the 'bolt' inside the ejection port on the right side. Then pull back and lock the bolt open and place a drop of oil on both sides of the 'bolt' and spreading it out with your finger. Put a drop of oil on the inside wall of the reciever and spread around with a qtip. That's it.
Work the bolt back and forth about 5 times and your good to go. Do not place any oil on the boltface or the chamberface. You should be able to shoot for quite a while just cleaning and lubing these areas without needing to completely disasemble it.
Use a small regular screwdriver and remove the front sight. Clean the screw and screw hole with a qtip, then place a drop of locktite in the screw hole and replace the sight. Should be fine for years.
Hope this helps, and wasn't 'too much information'.
