Hadn"t been shooting for about a month, so I slipped the 11-87 behind the seat of the truck before I went to work this morning so I could sneak out to the gun club on my way home. I had sliced my left index finger open a couple of weeks ago and had six stitches in the top knuckle. This is where I control my gun, so I had to see if it was gonna get in the way.

Weather was clear and sunny about 50 degrees, no wind. Shot with 3 other people. I ran mine, so did another guy and the other two gentlemen shot 24s. We BS in the clubhouse for about 15 minutes and went out to do it again. Ran mine again, I hadn't had 50 straight in about three months so I was feeling pretty good. The other guy that ran straight dropped his low 7 the second round and was kicking himself for it, the other two shot 23s. Had to get home so I didn't try for the 75 or 100 today, maybe this weekend. :)

Nice shooting, and take it from me going home with 50 under the belt is not always a bad thing unless you know EXACTLY where to shut your brain off for the third and fourth rounds LOL!! Even when you know where the breaker is it isn't easy to make sure it doesn't flip on during the last round of a 100 straight. The philosophy you employed today left me with a trap average of 100% last year, I did not miss a single bird at trap last year and no the number of rounds is not open to discussion LOL!
