Got my midway sales catalog in yesterday, ar-15 mags on sale for 9.99. It sure is nice to see prices coming down after allthose years of inching up.

    Yeah, I hear you.
Just before the ban expired I had posted on a couple of forums that I didn't think the manufacturers would allow the price of standard capacity magazines to drop in price.
Why kill a cash cow right?
    Well I was wrong.
Magazines have increased slightly in price compared to prices prior to the ban, but this is due to inflation and costs involved in manufacture, not greed.

I am very happy to see quality USGI AR mags at $10 a piece. I am also very happy to see so many shops and online retailers carring them.

I remember the days when I could buy surplus 20 rd AR mags for $4 a piece. I still have and use them to this day. Guess I should have bought more back then, but who knew?

We may as well enjoy it while it lasts because who knows how long it will last.

Buy as many as you can, while you can. If you repeat the mistakes of the past, only you are to blame.
