nicest gun ever contest

Perazzi shotguns I've owned and shot. And Mod 42 Winchester shotguns.

HK P7 pistols I own and shoot.

Kimber .22 rifle made in Oregon.

Custom rifles built on Mauser and Springfiend actions.

Kimber makes some real purdy 1911's.

Any pre 1900 lever gun is easy on the eyes.

And a Colt Python sure wouldn't win an ugly contest.

Beautifully engraved Browning Citori over/under shot gun for firearms.

Warships? Got to personally conn the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) through the Strait of Hormuz into the Gulf for the "second" war. And I was just a lowly pilot.

I really enjoyed firing the Ma Deuce when I was in the Army. Howitzers are fun too, especially the little 105mm ones.

Hi-Point 995-B Carbine and the C-9 Pistol.

Just kidding. Was morbidly curious and checked out the Hi-Points at my local shop. Couldn't get the ugly out of my head for days.

Shotgun, 28 ga Darne, Rifle Ruger #1 light rifle in 7x57 for a commercial model, Military, a Swiss 1911, Handgun a S&W Model 41.

I want a SIG AMT so bad! I think this is the nicest looking rifle ever. It looks futuristic and classic at the same time.

Just the charging handle alone looks so comfortable and modern.

If you consider the K31 "modern". It has the same handle on the bolt. :neener:
They ARE comfortable and better than the small knobs, tangs, flaps, etc on most guns, thats for sure.Just easier to grab, and hang on to.

Quad 50 on a destroyer mount shooting at sharks when we threw garbage over board. This was way back in the day. Probably would get you the brig nowadays.

And the most beautiful piece of gun art/tool I have ever held was a Martini & Hagn single shot custom. It looked like this one.

My pre-64 1894 Winchester in 30-30 Slickest action I have ever felt, swell trigger greatest deer rifle ever. Just my opinion, worth every penny you paid for it.:)

For pure all-out competitive classiness: Walther GSP, Pardini SP1, Hammerli 208, various Hammerli and Steyr air pistols.

Various 1911's that have been purpose-built for Bullseye competition.

STI's Edge and Eagle series.

The rifle Lones Wigger used to win gold at the 1972 Olympics in Free Rifle.

I've handled but never shot a couple of Purdy shotguns.

For concealed carry work: The Devel 9mm I got to handle once upon a time.

NFA-related, the nicest guns I've been lucky enough to shoot have been a couple of Tommy Guns, a suppressed AI .50 BMG, and a Stoner 63.

Regardless, I still have yet to see, handle, or shoot a double rifle meant for taking dangerous game.

I'd love to take a couple of shots with something like that.

Some favorites are that way from familiarity and fond nostalgia.

I own some exotic euro guns, but usually I admire the ones which historically have a unique simplistic characteristic bond to the familiar feelings I get from Christmas or a hot summer night. I'm just simple that way.
