Anyone know if this stuff is worth getting? I heard it takes your gun to the next level, that you never need to lube it again, that the thing can be tossed into salt water without worries.

What's the real deal on this stuff?

Lots of coating products on the market these days ... some are cheap and many are expensive. It would be nice to find a reasonably priced, highly effective product that we could depend upon!

My business focuses on building bolt guns.

My hobby is giant scale radio controlled racing airplanes. I recently received a test coupon of Nickel/Boron. After fiddling with it I've decided to have my cylinder liners plated with it. (I've scratch built an 80cc 2S twin that runs on nitromethane/methanol)

Twin City plating in Minneapolis has the ability to do it. I use them alot for other jobs that run through the machine shop. Good folks.

It seems to have some unique properties. According to the information I was given it will become more lubrice as the pressure against it increases. I'm sure there's a point of diminishing returns but it sounds interesting none the less.

Time will tell!

Hope this helped.
