I prefer nickel plated brass in any caliber . so i would say no to answer your question. whenever possible i pay extra to get nickel plated once fired brass.
Nothing wrong with using nickel plated brass. I use regular brass for reloads because the nickel plating makes the brass case stiffer and after repeated sizing/reloading, the plating tends to peel off. I sort out the nickel plated cases - not sure what I will do with those buckets.
Nickle plated cases of today are not plagued with the problems of nickle plated cases of the past. They hold up real well. They do seem to crack a bit sooner, at least in some calibers, than plain brass.
I have worn the nickle off some .38 & .357 cases from repeated shooting and tumbling, without them ever peeling etc.
