The TruGlo TFOs are a neat innovation. Fiber optic for daytime, tritium for night time. I own one set and like them very much.
However, Trijicons have one advantage that makes them a "best buy" for me:
Tritium's half-life is stated to be 12 years, but I have seen many night sights that were borderline worthless at 6 or 7 years. If you are a buy-and-sell type, that may mean little to you.
If you keep a gun with night sights, they will go dim. When that happens, you can pay for new sights... or you can send the old ones to Trij and they will replace the tritium capsules for $18 each (54 for all three capsules).
Or, you can send the slide to them by USPS Priority Mail for about $6. This will not disturb the zero, and you will not take the chance of damaging the sights (or the capsules) during removal/installation.
I would advise buying insurance on the slide...just in case. Having a frame and a barrel, but no slide...yeah, that would suck.
