Night Sights for P3AT hard chrome slide

Does anyone know if there is a night sight that works for a P3At? I have a Hard Chrome slide on order and my old eyes could use something better than the factory sights.
 
Never heard of a night site option for the P-32 and it's been out since '99 so I wouldn't imagine there would be anything for the P-3AT.
 
There may not be a commercially available set of night sigthts for the P-32 but that does not mean that it is not an option. I know of a guy who had trijicon sights installed on his Walther TPH. The gunsmith had to drill out the old sights and install the tritium vials in their place. It really looked good but IIRC it was about $250.

As with many other things in life this is possible it just depends upon how much you are willing to spend.
 
I find the sights pretty easy to use in adequate light and I can do OK out to about 15 yards or so, but as clubsoda sorta said, if you're shooting this small of a gun in a defensive situation, you ain't likely to use the sights, whether or not they glow in the dark.

I'd rather buy a $30 Streamlight Twin Task flashlight than have night sights on a P32/P3AT..
 
Aren't the sights really just a milled hump/groove in the slide? I would worry than anything actually tapped into the slide would cause a snag when drawn (from pocket, etc.).
 
club soda; They're tough to AIM just because of the gun design and the size of the sites. Don't confuse that with accuracy. I am surprised how well I shoot my .380. Paper plate accuracy from 5 to 50 feet; one-hand, two-hand, fast or slow! I wouldn't bet anybody I could light a kitchen match with one but I do consider that accurate enough for "social work".

Exactly. I wouldn't really call that little hump painted white on the front of the slide a "sight", but I find it remarkably easy to hit COM on a torso target out to 15 yards or so, even fairly rapidly.
 
AHHHHHHHHH....MAYbe I have an answer for this one....


Give Robar a call....I remember them installing a tritium front sight for a guy in a gun rag a couple of years ago...prolly expensive but well worth it if they will do it...
