What the hell do they expect? that a brick of .22 will have 500 different serial numbers on them?

It is impossible. for each cartridge to have a unique number the number would be so long it would never fit.
 
There are a lot of useless and redundant bills on the NJ list.
It appears that a lot of elected officials just want to get their name on a gun bill.
 
C'mon.....it's New Jersey.....where it should be mandatory IMO that anyone running for political office should undergo a mandatory Psych. eveluation first.
 
In home inspection a prerequisite to buy a gun....

No online ammo sales...

Registry and reporting of all ammo sales....

Guns and ammo get an extra 5% tax...

Don't forget, Christie doesn't have a problem with any existing NJ gun laws, so it's doubtful he'd have a problem with any of these.
 
Make sure you get involved and contact your representatives. Sometimes it's a lost cause but there is no way to stop these Bills if you don't try. Make sure they know you will support/unseat the right people.

Wn I was still wrking in NJ when they almost passed a smart gun technology bill,until they were informed that the technology wasn't available yet. Some politicians STILL wanted to go ahead and pass it anyways.

It basically would have made all handguns that exsisted in NJ illegal.

The fact that the technology did not exist did not stop California from passing microstamping into law. However, it's "on hold" there. see link:

In New Jersey, I would expect that the bill's authors don't plan on any such "on hold until available" period. Remember, this is from the state that brought us the show "Jersey Shore".

So I guess we aren't allowed to own rifles anymore either? *sigh*
 
My wife is from NJ. Knowing my In Laws as well as I do, I'm sure most of those bills make perfect sense to them. The general attitude seems to be that if you own a gun and you are not police, you must be some sort of violent criminal.
I bought a deer rifle. "Who youse gonna shoot wit dat?":what:
I told them "Bambi." Didn't hear from any of them for about 3 years now.

What's also preventing someone from picking up their casings or use a revolver, which wouldn't leave casings.
