NM CCW Expansion bill proposed!

A new bill has been proposed that will expand the right of ccw holders!

The bill would allow people with concealed-carry permits to bring their guns into bars, schools, university classrooms and onto public transportation.

This is classic.....

“The week after the Tucson Massacre, to have dreamed this up - really?” asked Sen. Jerry Ortiz y Pino, an Albuquerque Democrat. “This is almost incomprehensible to me. It just seems to me that it takes things in the wrong direction.”

What's wrong is to assume that any sort of restrictions on carry would prevent a madman from shooting people. Criminals don't care about gun laws, that's why they are criminals. Allowing law abiding citizens the right to protect themselves is incomprehensible Mr. Pino!

In an article discussing the relaxation of where you can legally carry a handgun with a permit, the last sentence is rather confusing. It implies that AZ, VT and AK have no limitations where a concealed weapon may be carried, when in fact they do.

Or, am I just reading too much into that sentence?
