It is good to remember what was seen though.
 
And some people say "You don't need a machine gun". The hell you don't.

As we all know the supreme court told N.O. law enforcement to stop doing that but they also told them they did not have to give back the weapons they already confiscated (stole). One of the biggest surprises to me was the fact they would not even write a receipt for guns taken. Was that so the officers could basically steal them and keep them without turning them in. What if that gun was later involved in a crime? They would have the gall to implicate you.

Also, if the supreme court ruled this behavior unconstitutional what would happen if someone had tried to stop one of these officers by shooting them and actually lived to tell about it? I know, I know, he wouldn't have lived to tell about (unless maybe he had a machine gun of his own).
 
In Algiers Point, the folks were better organized and politely declined to be disarmed, one hears. The authoritahs on the spot at the time thunk 'er over, decided that the word of the day wasn't Hoka Hey! after all, and went to pick on somebody else.
