Yes Wayne, the offset clip reduce bulk since it it isn't over the cylinder like most clip ons...works great with a ight gun like my 442...heavier guns might have a stability problem...but I would think any j-frame would be okay in one.
Mine is a Del Fatti...he has a very long wait right now...sideguard holsters also makes a nice offset clip...check them out...

here's a pic a sideguard with a re-inforced collar...a lot of people like them because they are concerned with one had re-holstering...personally, I don't feel the need on a CCW rig and feel they add unnecassary bulk...you can get this model without one if you want...and even w/o one, I can one hand mine since the horsehide is fairly rigid and doesn't collapse in the pants.
