Is there a method to remove rounds from a loaded magazine? Got my new Colt AR, pre-loaded some mags to head to the range but upon getting there range they closed down until Spring (family health issue with the owners).

Thanks

Simply push the rounds forward from the rear with your thumb. This is the same action that the bolt uses to remove them from the magazine. A glove is helpful as it can be hard on the fingers.

I was not sure if full mags would affect the springs? I tried reading before I posted the question, and there are many different opinions as to if the springs are affected.

I agree, leave them loaded.

If that makes you uneasy, you may want to look into one of the LuLa mag loader/unloader's. Makes loading very easy, and also unloads them with equal ease.
