IWB means "Inside the Waistband"

A Troll is a person who is "trawling for flames". That is, he makes inflammatory statements just to stir up mud and other less mentionable semi-solid substances. It's been conflated with the homophone "troll". Hence "Do not feed the trolls!" and similar advice.

A troll is someone, usually new to a forum, who posts inflammatory remarks just to provoke a response. It's akin to trolling -- dragging your bait thru the water behind the boat, hoping for a bite.

IWB = inside waist band. Similarly, OWB = outside waist band. Both are methods of mounting a handgun holster on your waist.

Adding a little to the IWB explanaitons.

IWB holsters typically don't utilize a retention strap because there is sufficient tension afforded by the waistband of the pants/ belt. OWB holsters are pretty much the "standard" holster seen on the belt. Although not referred to as such, cowboy rigs are OWB so are state trooper setups. IWB holsters are also typicaly constructed of sweat resistant materials due to thier close proximity to the body.

Click on the THR Library on the top right of the screen, and go to the acronyms. It has helped me immensly.
