Anyone know how to get a Norinco .22 Mauser Kar98K? I was told they were imported forever ago into the US, 'bout 30 years ago, though I'm not so sure as some people have told me it's a more recent Norinco product and thus can't really be imported into the US... any idea?

I vaguely recall seeing these. They were a half-assed copy of the K98 and were a little pricey. I think they stopped production or were banned from import long ago. You might find one on GunBroker or some other gun selling site but as I remember these they weren't all that great.

Its the Norinco Tu-KKW. Imported not to terribly long ago. Nice lttle rifle, most are considered excellent shooters. Problem you will run into is they are pretty difficult to find. You will see them occasionaly on Gunbroker, but not too often. Expect them to go for around $300 when you do find them.

I got one for my 18th birthday 10 years ago. The action is nearly identical to the CZ452 and uses identical magazines. I really liked that rifle, though mounting a scope is tough with the bolt handle and the rear sight. Shot lots of ground squirrels with it, has a good balance for standing shots.

No idea where to get one though, sorry on that count.
