This is what I have with my new FNP45. Bought from CDNN, manufactured in 08/2008 (I guess they don't fly off the shelves) and after reading about the way the FNP 45 line works, this may, or not, be normal..........but it is bothering me. I found this thread about one that was also manufactured in 08/2008 - http://www.fnforum.net/fnp-45-barrel-wear-does-this-look-normal-t20713.html

Keep in mind, I haven't put one rd through this, so this is from test firing at the factory, which may be as much as 3 mags......or more.

Should I fire this guy or drive down to the service dept of FNH (half an hour from me) and show them what I have in MY unfired gun?

Maybe normal for FNP guns?

Ideas anyone?

Shoot the damn thing...those are all wear points. It is a machine with moving parts and will have a lot more marks when you have it working really well after a 1000 rounds or so. Nice gun...I bought one a year ago.
