Also, Down Range Indoor Training Center offers IDPA Shoots on the 3rd Monday of the month, if you are nearby. We always have a good time.

Great to hear. If you shoot IDPA, we have a match at Richmond this Sunday. We like to pull the trigger, so we usually do 8-9 stages with around a 120 round minimum.

Correct regarding the timing. Get there by about 8:30am and you have plenty of time to register and gear up.

If you have no training, we require you to take some sort of safety/intro class before you can compete. If you've shot any other form of competition, or have experience working out of the holster, it is OK to come out without taking our intro class.

Seriously, though, I have done a few IDPA competitions. I am going to see if I can get anybody else to come down with me. I really do like IDPA.

So I competed in the Richmond Rod and Gun Club IDPA Match yesterday.

It was a great match! I really enjoyed the stages and the amount of shooting we got to do. Good people on my squad, lots of trigger time. I placed 3rd in my division (ESP).
