looking to maybe try a different bullets in my to 7mms a 7x57 ruer m77 and browning Abolt in 7wsm. i have used the sierra pro hunter in the ruger but they seam to open up with hot loads even to 200 yds so i have droped my charge to 46.3 from 50.0 to keep them from exploding and damage to much meat. i just got the 7wsm so no loads yet on deer i loaded up some 150 s bullets i had and ill just shoot to get the gun on paper. im thinking of the 160 of ether should be good in both. i will be getting the bullets from sps bullets to save money there near 50% of. the new sierra game king maybe on my list to but its a 168. id like to here what u like the best and if u have any pics from kills or recovered bullets or any other bullets u like. shots are at 0-400 yards maybe more but 400 in about normal max. at good size ny deer and maybe black bear.

Acubonds and the Partitions act very similarly in that both will shed some weight as well as open up nicely giving a good wound channel and, usually, complete pass-through. Both will leave decent, but not large, exit wounds.
One suggestion may be to try a heavier cup & core bullet in your 7's. They'll be traveling a bit slower and shouldn't leave too bad a meat destruction on exit.

In my personal experience, I have some rifles that shoot the partitions quite accurately and others that don't. Only one of my rifles (a 243) shoot them both accurately and I loaded rounds of both for hunting. It's definitely a YMMV thing.

Both Noslers should work well with either caliber. The Partition will shed it's front at close range and leave a smaller exit than the Accubond. I have shot the 110 AB out of a 257 Weatherby and the 150and 165gr AB out of my 300WSM. If a bullet was going to fail, it would have been from one of these calibers. Especially at a range of 40 yards.

Take a look at the 150 federal fusion pulls RMR has right now also, they are cheap, and from my experience with the 6mms they hold together quite well.
The160s I got from @Dudedog, that I'm positive are fusions shot well in my rifle, they hit the same place at 100 as my 162amax, so I'm gonna try those on sheel next chance I get. I've had those a while, but only last week loaded them lol....might have to grab some of the 150s.now myself.

We do get a discount with RMR, Ill pm you the code. Let me know if you do decide to order some Ill split an order with you.

Loonwolf, you are correct they are Federal Fusions. ( Opps sort of a Duplicate but I will leave it.)
Please let use know how they work out if you get a sheep with one.

Snuffy did an expansion test (posted here on THR) on some of the .223 62gr and they preformed really well. (pulls from RMR also)
So if these and the 6mm ones work well hopefully the 7mm ones will behave the same.
