I finally took my pistol to the range, orange on the front sight.
Couldn't see it worth jack (indoor range, low-moderate lighting).
Needless to say I'm removing it and seeking tritium sights....visibility was horrendous. They appreared a burnt orange, barely noticable from the black front sight. Yes, there was a pure white dot backing it as reccomended by the maker.
Goes to show, range test such upgrades before relying on them in the real world. It sounds like common sense, but I never accept common sense as common.
