Not really new here, but my old e-mail account I posted under as "Jonny Boy" was hacked pretty bad and I have yet to be able to hack back into it. Anyways, i am 18 and from Ohio. I play lead guitar and I collect knives. I am currently a full time college student. I am hoping to make some friends to talk to on here on a daily basis as well as reply/make posts. To toss something "gun related" into this, i was wondering if anyone had a hidden stash of info on the Mossberg 695 bolt action 12 Gauge. This is fully rifled for 2 3/4 or 3in 12 gauge sabots. Purchased with it was a small 1-4 1/2 (or so, too late to check) bushnell scope. Not exactly top-of-the-line but the choice was either buy a shotgun designed like a rifle for deer season or pay 19 dollars less for a new barrel for my 870!!! It wouldent have been rifled, either. Hope to chat with some of you soon!

Actually you can get fully rifled barrels for 870s. (I hope I didn't misunderstand that question)

I think he knew that

It was an excuse to add to the collection. I used that one. I bought about 100 rounds of 8x56r surplus. Had to get a gun that shoots it:neener: Have an svd scope. I'll be putting it on a svd once I move from california.
Oh, sorry, don't have info on the shotgun. Do know there were atleast two variants of boltaction shotguns made on mauser 98k actions before WWII. Had an oportunity to get one but passed it up.:(

lol yes I knew i could get a barrel fully rifled and yes it was an excuse to add to the collection kung-fu, lol. you guys are great :D.

Hopefully the tigger on yours is better than the one on mine. Mine breaks, not-so-cleanly(gritty), at a whopping 9 pounds. It is a decent shooter despite the fact, but could be sooooo much better.

trigger pull on mine is a little softer than that. not as clean as a rifle, yet, but tolerable. (replied to message mal).
