I heard on a TV news program, I think it was tonights Hannity program with Dick Morris, that if Hilary signs the UN Gun Treaty (assuming it passes the UN) the US will be bound by it until and if the Senate opts to throw it out. It would seem, according to Morris, that the Senate isn't tasked with approving a treaty but given an opportunity to reject it. And Morris pointed out that they would be faced with doing this in an election year when Harry Reide won't even allow bills to be introduced and debated on the Senate floor. Meanwhile, Morris said, the government would be able to enforce the treaty.

That doesn't make sense to me but little in the way things have been going in Washington these last few years have made sense. It seems we are constantly surprised by some twist in the law that allows the government to do things that we thought they couldn't. Deciding to not enforce laws that the president deems unconstitutional is an example.

Does anyone know more about this?

I'm afraid none of us have a crystal ball to know what will happen.

There's really nothing to discuss since this is again wild speculations.

Sorry.
