I switched to this rotor insert not long after buying a Hornady LNL AP press (which also marked the start of my loading career). It's great for quickly making 0.1gr changes. One problem with the unit is the loosening of the vernier nob which is not indexed to the shaft. Once that screw loosens all bets are off. I spoke with Hornady today and, as expected, they suggested using loctite on the screw. Since the vernier is not indexed I'll need to position the indicator so that the "zero" aligns with the measurement scribe when the vernier aligns with one of the integer marks (e.g. 1.0) or one of the mid-marks such as 1.5.
The sizing micrometer doesn't experience vibration and hasn't loosed at all.
