Just wanted to let you know that I've scheduled two new NRA courses on the calendar. Both will be held at Southriver Gun Club in Conyers, GA. Tuition for each class will be $100 per person or $175 for two registering together. Minors age 10+ are welcome to attend with a registered adult and their tuition is $25. A 50% deposit is required to reserve space. Both classes will begin at 8:00 am and conclude by 6:00.
10/9 NRA Basic Pistol
This course provides a new shooter with a hands-on experience where the student will learn safe firearm handling, methods of operating different types of pistols, ammunition and its function, shooting fundamentals, firearms selection, cleaning and storage of firearms. This 10 hour course offers a solid base upon which a student can safely build their shooting skills and includes several hours of actual shooting time on the range. All course materials including firearms, ammunition and targets will be provided. A certificate of training will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the course. 10/31 NRA Personal Protection
This 10 hour course is the next phase in the NRA program and is intended to further develop the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to the safe use of a handgun for self-protection. It also provides information on a citizen's right to self-defense. The student will need to provide their own firearm and ammunition. A certificate of training will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the course. Student/instructor ratio will be no more than 5:1.
