NRA instructor training - Idaho?

I'm looking to get NRA instructor trained. Just need enough training to be a BSA approved rifle merit badge counselor. I highly highly doubt I will use it for anything else.

I've found one place over in Idaho Falls that is a good price special for Scout Leaders over three days (only pay for class materials), but I live in Boise. So with hotel and taking 3 days off work, that's not an option.

I've googled, and even looked at the NRA training site and can't seem to find an instructor trainer in the Boise Metro area for a reasonable price.

For the required classes I believe it is just NRA Basic Instructor Training and NRA Rifle Instructor Training that I need.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Call or stop by Cliffs and talk to, who else, Cliff.

He should be able to point you in the right direction. In fact, there are business cards for several instructors at the checkout area. If Cliff cant help you with the BSA specific cert referral, perhaps one of the instructors can. Good luck!
