A buddy of mine told me that the NRA has come up with a list of pro and anti gun celebrities and companys. I checked their website and couldn't find it would anyone have a link to it? Thanks!
That's just the anti-gun list. I'm not sure they even have a pro-gun list. Keep in mind that the NRA sure as hell can't keep tabs of every celebrity with crazy anti-gun views.
The NRA and GOA etc. are made up mostly working class guys and gals. The gun banners have all these celebrities backing them up. Yet it's our side that gets portrayed as the faceless corporate giant.
The NRA has been successfully demonized to the point that most Americans have a negative view of it. When you say the NRA the average American probably thinks of a bunch of suits in a smoke filled room rubbing their hands together giggling over their latest plan to arm criminals with cop-killing assault weapons.
The NRA has been effectively neutralized in the court of public opinion.
We need to put a human face on "the gun lobby" in our own propoganda.
We need an ad campaign not associated with the NRA in any way, one where we show people with their families learning to shoot, explaining that gun ownership is an important part of our heritage, and explaining why we feel so strongly about it.
