NRA Mailing List Options

I sent the NRA an email on Dec 31, 2002 to [email protected] asking to be put on the 'light' mailing list.

Today (Jan 07, 2003) they wrote back and said:

Dear Steven,
Thank you for contacting us. I have put you on the "Do Not Promote
List." Please give our system 30 days for the mailings to reduce. Thank you for your support.

So... there are options if you are getting swamped with offers.

Personally, I'd rather have my money going toward legislative efforts rather than funding direct mail solicitations from the already 'converted', but that's just me.
