Hello all
I am a nyc resident wanting a shotgun maverick 88 or mossberg 500 I was wondering since it would be a long process can I be able to buy my shotgun from a private seller or gun shop in pa (close as possible to nyc) and leave it at a storage place or is the a gunshop\range that offers storage and how much ?

The first requirement of an out of state long-gun purchase is that it go through a Federal Firearms License-holder (dealer).

The second is that the laws of both the dealer's state -- and the purchaser's state -- must be followed exactly.

If you need permits, licenses, waiting periods, background checks etc., in your home location, those same restrictions or conditions apply if you're buying from a dealer in another states.
