jell-dog was kind enough to send me some 100gr Berrys to test in my new .380.
I just can't seem to come up with an OAL for the 100gr BTHP bullets that seems reasonable. By the time they have good neck tension and plunk they are seated way deep.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
.816 is the start of neck tension but won't plunk , .724 plunks.

Well, you're putting them in backwards. The hollow base goes in the case. That might help.

Flip them around and start again. Start long. Little adjustment until they plunk.

Just keep plunking and function test until you find the OAL that will work with your pistol. ;)

I tested various 9mm bullets and got them to reliably feed/chamber in my Glock 22/KKM/LW barrels with these OALs (my G22/KKM/LW will feed/chamber empty 9mm brass from magazine): :D

Sure must be April 1st. ;) :D

While I never shot the upside down bullet loads (rounds in the picture were dummy rounds), I have always wondered how FMJ/HB bullets loaded upside down would expand ...

Rats there goes JD and my plans to put them in fancy boxes, mark them up 100% and claim they are the latest and greatest.

Double Dog Devastator Boat Tail HPs for 9mm :D

Oh well, guess I will just have to work for a living and start Double Dog bullets with jell-dog later.:)

I came up with the joke looking at them wondering if they would expand if shot backwards. (just got my hands on some of the HB Berrys, Thanks for the PIF guys)
Held off posting it until today.

My apologies if I offended anyone with the joke.

Hopefully some of you got a good laugh!
(and the mods will forgive me, I did make it a point not to mention anything about powder charge)

I thought, man he has really "flipped".
LOL
