I'm sure I could have found the answer to this on the net but I figure it would be nice to ask here.
IIRC the mandated legal length for a shotgun OAL is 26" with at least 18" of that being barrel length, right? Does the ATF's ruling that OAL is measured with a collapsed stock fully extended apply to shotguns? Would it be foolish for a company to make some sort of short action shotgun that would measure less than 26" OAL with its stock collapsed considering that the ATF can easily reverse its viewpoint and make it illegal in a heartbeat?
