I agree: act, don't gripe. However, it is NOT common knowledge, other than here. There are millions upon millions of hunters and gun owners out there who buy the lie because he says he supports the second amendment.
Our job: let them know. Get some hard facts, other than just "He's bad and wants to take all our guns!", then pick up the phone, send emails, whatever.
Don't just assume that all your friends, family, and acquaintances really know what's up. Just a week or two ago I was talking to a friend from church who stated that he was leaning toward Obama because "He's for change". This from a guy who really should know better.
We need to inform everyone we know that when Obama/Biden say they support the second amendment, their record shows that they mean they think it's OK for "the common folk" to maybe have a few single shot rifles, perhaps a double barrel skeet gun or black powder musket, so long as they are dutifully registered and regulated to where only the wealthy can afford them. From a legal/court perspective, there are also many vacant federal judge positions waiting to be filled. With 60 dems in the senate and O in the white house, they will be filled with gun-hating activist judges, affecting our courts for an entire generation.
Think of how many voters you know. I realize that in many settings politics is a touchy subject, but people need to know. Specific strategy: send an email or make a phone call to everyone you know, even relatives. Ask them to do the same. Spread the word!

I think we've done, call everyone before, but it can't hurt to repeat it. Just have objective information from original sources instead of screeds as second hand reports from indefensible sources they'll reject.
