Have you ever purchased a gun that after a period of time and experience by and large made your other guns obsolete? About 9 months ago I purchased a Kel-Tec P-11. Since that time I have found it meets all my needs extremely well, in fact better than any other single handgun. It fires a potent cartridge, recoil is ok, has good accuracy (hits 9" paper plate at 50 feet), it's light weight, reliable, and has a good magazine capacity (10). This one gun equals or exceeds all the following handguns: PPK (weight, caliber), S&W 36(capacity), Colt Cobra (capacity), Colt .45 Officers model (size, weight, and capacity), Makarov (size weight, caliber) and I could go on and on. The only thing L'm missing with the P-11 is target accuracy and the stopping power of the large, heavy calibers. But research shows that modern bullets designs allow the smaller calibers to come close to equaling their big brothers in stopping power.
