OCW and different barrel lengths.

Does the same powder charge work well over varying barrel lengths and action systems if the OCW is found?
I have been using the Audette ladder test and have recently tried the OCW system because I'm shooting more iron sighted rifles lately and don't care what they do at 300 plus yards.

By and large, barrel length has little effect on the powder used. What works in a 24" barrel will work in an 18" barrel -- albeit with a lower muzzle velocity.

Remember, the powder doesn't know how long the barrel is -- most of it is burned in the first inch or so of bullet travel.
