Odd pistol from a good while back

A good while ago there was a semi-auto pistol for sale at my local gunstore. It's most interesting feature was that the front of the trigger guard could be pulled with your trigger finger which pulled the slide back for loading a magazine. That's all I remember about the gun. I'm sure someone on here knows what the heck it was, I'd love some details.

I remember seeing it in a gun rag c. the early 1990s. The idea is not new; some WWI-era German pistol whose name escapes me also had it.
 
its called a lignose, if its not the norinco.
The model was the einhand, german for one hand, there was a 2 different models, small and large, this is the small one

So utilizing this trigger 'bar' would cycle a round into the chamber?

Seems pretty cool to me! I'd but it if I could -probably wouldn't use it for a SD gun, but the novelty is there as a collection piece.
