Hey all, I was just invited to a get-together in Phoenix that is happening a little over a month away. I have been dragging my feet on getting my Florida non-res for almost a year now, and still haven't sent the application in. :uhoh:

Anyway, I seem to remember FL takes a good 6 weeks turnaround time, so that won't do me any good. Are there any states who issue non-res that are good in AZ, that are generally faster than a month turnaround?

It's a good idea to carry a copy of the reciprocity letter from the state's L.E. along with your permit just in case.

Fla is a good one to have anyway. Quit draggin your feet and get the bugger!;)

Have fun in Phoenix. You picked a good time to come. Bit cooler out now. It won't be too unbearable for a New Yorker. :)

I just got my PA CCW permit. It took 1 week for turn around time and was a piece of cake to get. All it took was a copy of my Ohio permit, a copy of my Ohio Drivers License, the form filled out in full and $26. I mailed it in on the 18th and received mine by the 25th of September, and AZ is covered by a PA permit according to www.usacarry.com

Here is the link to the Centre County PA website to get yours

I'd like to get a FL permit too but it isn't near so easy or cheap. It's $115 or so and you need fingerprints taken at the local PD as well as photos too, and I've heard they can take quite awhile (2-3 months) to process too. With my Ohio CCW and now PA I would only pick up 3 more states with a FL permit too.
