Clerk Surprises Men Who Tried To Rob Store
No Money Taken In Robbery Attempt

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police said a clerk fought back against three masked
gunmen who attempted to rob the man's convenience store Wednesday night.

Police said that the men attempted to rob Stop & Shop, located at 1858
Lockbourne Road at 10:43 p.m.

The three men, all wearing face masks, demanded money from the clerk,
Hisham Mohammad. Police said that one of the men aimed a large,
semiautomatic handgun and aimed it at Mohammad.

According to police, Mohammad, 47, pulled his own gun from under the
store's counter and aimed it at one of the gunmen.

The two exchanged gunfire shortly before the would-be robbers fled the
store.
Police said no money was taken.
