POMONA, Calif. - A man opened fire in a fast-food restaurant Monday, killing a 2-year-old boy eating lunch with his mother, police said.

The suspect was shot dead outside the Burger King restaurant, about 30 miles east of Los Angeles, after he allegedly pointed his gun at police officers.

Police Sgt. Joann Crabb said the shooting appeared to be unprovoked. Witnesses said the man stood up suddenly and began shooting.

There appeared to be no connection between the boy's family and the gunman, who was not immediately identified, authorities said.

It's called "Suicide by cop." Even more gutless than the typical suicide, these pus bubbles lack the spine to just off themselves and be done. Their life devolves to a "if I kill someone, THAT will show 'them'!"

Is the best way to deal with it. DON'T mention their names. No sob stories about the victims, no "WORST SHOOTING IN 37 WEEKS IN CALIFORNIA BY A LEFTHANDED REDHEAD!" or other inscription. Just, "Today, a gutless piece of filth opened fire. Police shoveled up the dog-doo and buried him in Glad trash bag." And it will STOP. They do it for the headlines.

Somebody sue the newswhores instead of the gunmakers.

Which brings up something I was going to mention elesewhere, that fits here...why is it the antis can always find an attorney to take their losing cases on contingency? On more than one occasion, I've suggested to attorneys who profess to support the 2nd Amendment that a case AGAINST the antis, against the news, against anyone suing anyone other than the perpetrator would be positive. The response, EVERY SINGLE TIME, is "Yes, that would be good."

"So how do we proceed?" I ask.

"Well, I'd need about $2000 as a retainer to get started."

We HAVE no pro 2A lawyers. We have whores who want our money.

It's a shameful comment.
