I'm looking into opening a business with a friend, and one of the cities we've started to look at is Columbus, OH. However, when I look at packing.org, it appears that Ohio has pretty crummy laws when it comes to my right to defend myself. Can you guys give me the skinny on Ohio, please?
Specifically, is it possible at all for me to carry a gun there? Is open carry allowed, since concealed carry seems to be off-limits? What about carrying in my car? I would be planning on keeping a gun in the business with me, and I hate the idea of leaving one there overnight (although I guess I could lock it up in the safe). How about carrying the gun in my car and on my person while walking to my car? What's up there? Anyone know what the laws are like in Columbus pertaining to guns in businesses?
Any other info you could throw in about the political/business climate in Ohio would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe
