Ohio open carry on a bicycle

Does anyone know if it is legal in Ohio to open carry while bicycling? I asked my local county sheriff and they said "I think it is".

get a signed letter from them saying that. However...in Ohio I can only imagine getting the MWAG scenario.

Perfectly legal. Ohio only regulates carry in motor vehicles. Although bicycles have to obey the traffic laws, they are not considered motor vehicles.

Interestingly, Ohio's Castle Doctrine also applies to bicycles and other non-motorized vehicles.
