Zanesville Rifle Club High Power Match

Where- The Zanesville Rifle Club Range at Blue Rock State Park ,7380 Sugargrove Road, Chandlersville, Ohio 43727 (see driving directions at bottom of page)
When- September 23rd. Registration begins at 0800, match starts at 0900
Details- The Zanesville Rifle Club Range is a 300 yard range. Matches are shot at 200 & 300 yards. The 600 yard course is shot at the 300 yard line on reduced targets. The course of fire is the standard NRA 80 Round Match with sighters.Entries are open to all Classified and Unclassified shooters. Neither NRA or ZRC Memberships are required to participate in our matches. Only ZRC Club Members are eligible to win The ZRC Club Championship.
All matches are squadded on a first come, first served basis. Range capacity is 64 shooters.Classification is done by the NRA High Power Classification system.
Entry fees: $10.00 for ZRC members, $15.00 for non-members. Ammunition is not provided.
Any safe ammunition may be used. (Incendiary or Tracer ammunition is not permitted)
U.S. Service Rifles or NRA Match Rifles with open or metallic sights only.
Open Chamber Indicators are Required. (available at no charge during squadding)Current NRA High Power Rifle Rules will be followed.All Range Safety Rules will be Strictly Enforced!Proper Eye and Hearing Protection is Required.All competitors will be expected to score, serve pit duties and assist in range duties as required.
Awards: To keep participation costs to a minimum, the ZRC does not present awards at these matches (with the exception of plaques awarded at the Championship Match).
Important Notice: The Match Director may make changes to the match format as required.
Note: Bring foul weather gear. Every effort will be made to conduct these matches. There are no breaks. Please bring your own food & drink. Drinking water is provided. Park in designated areas only.
Range directions: From Interstate 70 in Zanesville, follow State Route 60 South for approx. 9.5 miles (through Duncan Falls). Turn left onto Cutler Lake Road (Blue Rock State Park Signs) and follow for .6 of a mile. Turn left onto Sugargrove Road and follow for 2.5 miles. The Range Gate is on the right side, marked Zanesville Rifle Club. This is directly across from Walkabout Creek. It is approx. 13 miles from Interstate 70 in Zanesville to the range.
