I can no longer ignore the touching e-mails which I'm receiving. Or even the "Float Post".
I really had no idea that my "logging out" would make an impact on anyone. Let alone, the number of people who have e-mailed me.
As an older soldier once said, I planned to just "fade away".
Thank you to the many people who've taken the time to communicate with me. I am humbled.

From the course of my workday, my commute, etc., it seems that Jerks are a fact of life, including at THR. I don't let it get me down any more than I have to.

Who else would I rather have at my back when I start blatherin' about my favorite Marlin 1894c, none other than KR.....Well maybe TERRYM, but

[stupid "mob" voice] Such a "deal" we have for you....[\voice]

Guys like you who get ticked at loroaders are the type we need to keep
the Highroad, THE Highroad.

Good to see a ''familiar face'' back in the fold.:)

Hope we'll see Sam soon and also Cruffler get back along too ... the ''leaner/fitter'' Cruffler!:p

BTW .. I have been wondering, as many may also .... do we have any news of Blackhawk yet ... an update? Hoping I haven't missed anything.

Greybeard! Surely you jest! Are you referring to my Glock? :) PREGNANT tadpole indeed! :) OK--the truth is that my new PM9 has taken over carry duties these days. My wife purchased me a Coronado concealment vest and while the Glock fits well, the Kahr *feels better in the vest. The Kahr is such a thin little pistol. My first 9MM too. Somehow, in all the pistols and rifles I've collected, I've neglected the 9MM. That was a mistake because it's a wonderful, soft-shooting little round.

MLH: I'm being kinda sneaky with Sam. (So, SHHHhhhh!) I started out telling him how much he was missed. And then I told him about the number of posts from people who e-mail me and inquire about his health. He's a tough ol' nut to crack...but I *may be gettin' there! :)

Nah, remember that little humpback 5-holer? Smith 638? Ooooogly.

Didn't know ya had the PM9. Got one of those too almoast a year ago. On my ankle just now.

Gotta class going. best get back to it. regards grey

Hey Grey...

What do ya' shoot? I like 124gr Gold Dots. Regular AND +P's and also Federal 135gr Hydra-Shoks. Eleven grains is a mighty little bit of weight, but I thought that it might just penetrate better. Those are the three I've settled on anyway. I just HAD to buy more "flat bottom" mags though. (Thirty six bucks apiece from Kahr too!) The +1 mag that came with my PM9 is too weird looking for anywhere but the range. :)
