I just got some of this nickel plated brass cartridges. Is it OK to polish them in the same tumbler media as I use for my regular brass?

I think it would be but I would hate to "tumble off" the nickel plating.

The nickel plated brass will clean up quicker than unplated brass, so just don't tumble it as long. If you forget, and leave the tumbler on overnight, the nickel plating will be pretty much gone by midmorning of the next day..........

Hope this helps.

I have used corncob only with this type of brass and had excellent luck even after many tumblings. If you have a 'conditioner' in the corncob it takes an hour or two to get the job done quite well.

It will wear off after awhile. I have a small batch of nickle .357 range brass I have been testing loads in. After around 7 or 8 reloads and tumbling the nickle is getting thin. I try to remember to tumble the nickle for just an hour or so, but it has gotten tumbled overnight before.
