ok guys this is just a thread to see what everyone is buying. weather it be for the whole 2012 thing, looming AWB, Christmas ect...

today i bought:

a ruger sr556
500 rounds of ammo
and 400.00 of misc reloading stuff.

The only thing I bought today, other than lunch, was some AR type magazines. They would have likely been bought during the coming year so I just expedited things a little. :)

Most likely selling my SKS to a friend but I will be at the gun shop or on here looking for a replacement. I need to buy some more ammo soon for all my guns since I'm running low... I've been lazy about that. I have some just in case something happens on the 21st though! :)

Fifteen 30 round AR mags.

Looking for a couple stripped lower receivers if I could just find any :cuss:

(2) 5 Round AR Magazines - Not a panic buy obviously... Looking forward to some night coyote hunting and we have a five round magazine limit when hunting in Maine.

Box of Federal 180grn .30-06 and a box of Federal Automatch .22LR.

Might buy a new scope or a red dot mount for my AK later.

Nothing gun related. My last such "purchase" was a box of Hornady bullets (rebate from buying a set of dies) ten days ago, before Sandy Hook.

[Is that going to become a new way of recording history -- BC, AD, SH?]

My most likely next purchase will be another hi-capacity .40 cal pistol, quite likely a Glock 27, but I don't buy the impending gun ban hype so I'm in no hurry.

I just purchased 3 11-round Mec-Gar magazines for my Marlin Camp 45. I was going to get 2 "sometime" but I jumped off the fence.

I was going to get some mecgar CZ 75 17rd AFC mags for the cz shadow target that I am getting but apparently the panic buyers beat me to it.

Bought a Magpul AFG2 on Sunday, but I have no need or desire to engage in the panic buying of rifles, magazines and ammo. I've spent years accumulating what I want so that I would not fall victim to the environment and pricing of the panic if it ever came to fruition. In retrospect, I definitely made the right decision.

Nope, have everything I want....and don't need anything.../ but I visited 2 gun shops in my area today - just as cheap entertainment - as the feeding frenzy begins...:(

60 round Surefire AR mags.

Those were too expensive before the panic, IMO. I'd like to have a couple, but not at $100/ea when I can (or could) buy a pair of PMags30s and a Maglink for $40.

I have one Beta C 100 rounder. It's fun, runs fine, but it was $250. At that price, one is all I want.

My 7" AR upper. It was only a matter of time, already had the lower. I wonder if I will still be able to get a tax stamp for a SBR when the dust settles. Also, some 30 round P-Mags.

I expect so. NFA stuff is not on the anti's radar; Other than the Hughes amendment, it hasn't been screwed with since it became law.

Having said that, I hope you're building on a virgin receiver and are able to configure it as a pistol for now, or have a pistol lower already that it can go on. Constructive possession is a bit different with SBR than machine gun, but I still don't think I'd want to be caught with a pistol/SBR upper and no pistol or registered SBR lower to put it on.

I was about to say I didn't get jack today, but I did pick up a 100 pack of 38 special. Already had a small order with Midway last Friday anyway guess I should have beefed it up some.

I'll add another box of .30-06 to the stuff I bought.....

I ended up having to go back into WalMart, so I bought another box.
