During My military time I took the EIB test (expert infantrymans badge)
As I recall you dont have to take down the bolt assembly to do a feild strip!!

So she prolly would have been done in 30 seconds or so

Proper functions check for M16 a2; Charge, select safe , select semi pull trigger and hold, charge ,release trigger, pull trigger,( complete cycle of semi firing) charge, select burst, pull trigger and hold, charge 3 times, release trigger, (complete cycle of burst fire)

Hey guys. It's true, I have been a member here for a while but never posted anything. Thank you so much for all the positive comments about my daughter.

She practiced long and hard to beat her older brother (and me) and when I wanted to go to bed she still wanted to practice field stripping that weapon. She is a diehard AR lover and I couldn't be more proud.

We are off to the range this morning! Thank you again and she DOES know better then to put a finger on the trigger. But, practice makes perfect and that is why we are doing what we are doing.

Hopefully the guys over at AFCOM get you most of what you need. From that thread it looks like your well on your way to having most everything you'll need. If I had spare parts (Parts at all) for an AR I would be happy to send them. She did a good job on the field stripping, and it would be cool for her to have her own rifle to do it with in a future video with a big smile on her face.
