so cal
and came across this on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRLFNEdXOAQ
well forgot about the test of what smokes more
his incredibly fast shooting kinda distracted me from the test.
HOW is he shooting this fast and how is his brass staying in
such a pattern? Do you think he edited the film or did something(s)
to his pistol?
sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.
i don't use any of the powders he listed but want to try to make my own lube

It's combination of light match trigger/short reset and trigger control. I can do the same/similar with my Sig 1911, M&P45 (with trigger job) and Glocks. Check out this video (and Travis is actually aiming and hitting his targets, not just rapid firing) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7_aD5U2OT8&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PL70D1A9A9CD78C76D

He should have done the testing indoors as the wind direction affected how much smoke was visible.

After watching the video, I am happy to report my Missouri 9/40/45 loads with W231/HP-38 at mid-to-high range load data produce much less smoke, even after rapid fire of dumping the entire magazine at indoor range and I never lose sight of my targets. :D
