I'm currently looking for a IWB holster for a Sig P226 and while trying to decide between the Galco Kingtuk and the Corssbreed Supertuck I came across Old Faithful Holsters. They make a IWB holster similar to the Kingtuk/Supertuck and it can be had in kit form for less money. They look decent but I've never heard of the company so I wanted some opinions before I order one. Thanks.

I know someone who ordered one. Seemed to work well, nothing special or fancy about it but functioned fine. Kydex was formed nicely. Spend to extra few bucks for the horsehide leather though.

Absolutely love mine. Used it for my Sig and now replaces the kydex piece and now carry my Glock with it. Love it.

I own one for a S&W J-Frame, and have two more on the way that shipped yesterday for a Ruger SR22 and a Glock 26. I have the J-Frame on right now.

Their stage 3 kits are affordable, and the quality of the Kydex molding and finishing is excellent.

Top quality materials all the way and the kydex mounting system is light years ahead of Crossbreed. Don't bother spending the extra for horsehide. He uses a fairly expensive, comparatively, bridle leather that is allready finished with waxes and tallow making it pretty moisture resistant. Buy the level three kit and save some money all the work is done except mounting the clips and kydex. Takes about ten minutes.

they do buy them---i have the SOB model, i liked being able to cut/shape the kydex to my liking and assemble the rig. the kydex is decently thick, which i like. Mr Taktical--maybe you should get on GunTalk and Armed American Radio to advertise your holsters. that's where i heard about old faithful. had i seen your stuff first, i might have went your way....

I ended up looking into this at one point, and discovered a few guys on ebay who were selling completed (high quality seemingly) versions of this style of holster for the $30 range. I got one for my 1911 and am quite happy with it.

The level III kit has the kydex allready formed and holes drilled and leather has all the holes pre punched. Merely a matter of seating the screw inserts and screwing things down. I make leather holsters and buy a lot of supplies from Thomas. His hybrid holsters are far and away the best I have seen.

Too late either of those, looks like I missed out on 16% off but for the price I can't complain (under $50 shipped).
