That's all it says on it. Got a bunch of patent stamps from the early 1900's, but I can't find anything other than a serial number and the "MODEL II-A" on it. Looks old as hell, but might have just been exposed to the elements too much.

Any idea what this could be? I can take pictures, but it's a pretty unremarkable looking gun, just looks like a plain semi-auto shotgun. Anyone heard of this model before?

EDIT: You know, I think it might say 11-A, the characters look like two lowercase "L", but I think it's actually an 11, not a roman numeral.

Remington Model 11 is the Browning design ,and closely resembles the Browning A5 semi auto gun.

The Remington gun was of good quality, and many are still in use today . It is a recoil operated auto using friction ring design.

A google image search for "Remington Model 11" might narrow it down for you.

In good shape it is 300-400.00 gun, gotta be pretty sweet condition to push past 400.00.

John Moses Browning designed the Model 11, and a fine job he did.

It's one of the classics. The archives have oodles of input.
