Old KA-BAR/Union Cutlery switchblade

I have an old KA-BAR/Union Cutlery switchblade that i think is a grizzly model, looks like a hunting knife with the stag handle & large blade, i"ve had it for over 30 years. too bad my step grandfather didn't know how to sharpen it properly & damaged the blade.

Yes exactly, except mine doesn't have the lanyard hole at the end of the handle. the blade is loose and i think the tip of the blade was broken at one time then ground to a new point. my grandmother gave it to me after my step grandfather passed away around 1983. she also gave my a fairbairn sykes dagger that he kept in good condition, no sheath though
