Old lake city & twin city brass 308

Hey guys I just bought about 300-308 win brass, about 2/3 are lake city or twin city with date stamp from 1968-1992, they feel heavier than Winchester ect.... Any reason not to use them if they inspect ok.

They're good. As you noticed though, the are heavier. Make sure to drop your load back down and work back up.

Military brass, especially LC, is probably the best brass ever made. Yours is not old at all and is excellent brass. Size and check to see if it needs to be trimmed, and be sure to swage the primer pocket.

Suggest you lower charge weights by 1.5gr from any published load data using .308 Winchester brass.
