A friend gave me some of his father's old reloading supplies, including 200+ 30-06 cases.
Some of the cases are primed and I'm not sure if I should treat them as corrosive.
The best hint as to age is a label on a box of reloaded 30-06 rounds with a date of 1962. Some of the brass (which I think is WW2 surplus) has "1942" stamped on it, but I think the reloading was done later.
When did non-corrosive primers become standard for consumers?
The brass is all clean and in good shape.
